Indication/Description
Doxycycline belongs to the group of tetracyclines and acts bacteriostatic against many Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria like Bordetella, Campylobacter, E. coli, Haemophilus, Pasteurella, Salmonella, Staphylococcus and Streptococcus spp. Doxycycline is also active against Chlamydia, Mycoplasma and Rickettsia spp. The action of doxycycline is based on inhibition of bacterial protein synthesis. Doxycycline has good affinity towards the lungs and is therefore especially useful for treatment of bacterial respiratory infections.
Gentamicin sulphate belongs to the group of aminoglycosides and acts bactericidal against mainly Gram-negative bacteria like E. coli, Klebsiella, Pasteurella and Salmonella spp. The bactericidal action is based on inhibition of bacterial protein synthesis as well.
SANFO.GENTADOX can be used for the treatment of gastrointestinal and respiratory infections caused by micro-organisms sensitive to doxycycline and/or gentamicin in livestocks.

Administration & Dosage
Dissolve into drinking water or mix with feed for 3 - 5 days.
• Cattle: 1 g/10 kg of b.w.
• Poultry: 1.000 g/1.000 litres (equivalent to 1g/1 litre) of drinking water or 1 g/5 kg of b.w.
Preventive dosage: half the recommended concentration.
Withdraw period
Withdraw 8 days before slaughter.
Withdraw 18 days before egg collection.
Withdraw 3 days before milk collection.
Storage
Keep in dry, cool place and keep away from sunlight
Store in room temperature.
