Indication/Description:
Prevention and treatment of diseases caused by bacteria susceptible to tilmicosin in swine and poultry such as:
- Parietal pneumonia (APP) in swine due to Actinobacillus pleuropneuminia.
- Pneumonia and septicemia due to Pasteurella multocida.
- Pneumonia due to Mycoplasma hyopneumoniea.
Administration & Dosage:
Mix 1 – 2 g which would equivalent to 200 – 400 mg of tilmicosin phosphate over 1 kg of feed or 1 – 2 kg / 1 ton of feed for 21 days consecutively.
Note:
Mix well before use.
Do not use in any food containing bentonite.
Withdraw period:
Withdraw 7 days before slaughter in poultry.
Withdraw 20 days before slaughter in swine.
Withdraw 30 days before slaughter in buffalo, cow, sheep and goat.
Contraindications:
Do not use in animal that has suffered from macrolide shock or anaphylaxis.
Do not use in conjunction with lincosamides classifying antibiotics of other macrolide drugs.
Do not use in pregnant or lactating sows.
